My name is Kate Hagborg and I.... experience, passion, etc. I am actually trained in several types of therapy that are effective in resolving trauma, anxiety, and depression, such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), etc.  However, I have found that my clients tend to like Lifespan Integration.  Why?  Because it is gentle, fast-acting, and targeted.  Many clients report not only healing from past traumas, but feeling more peaceful, whole, positive about themselves, and more connected to their core self. 

What is working with me like?

Our work together will not be like the traditional talk therapy that you may have tried before or seen in the movies.  While we will have sessions where we primarily talk and process your thoughts and feelings, we will also have sessions where we use therapeutic techniques designed to help rewire your brain so that your body can properly process and heal from hard things keeping you stuck.  As we progress, you will start to feel the process of healing and change beginning session by session until you finally come to a point where you feel unstuck, moved on from the past, and a greater sense of peace and confidence about who you are today.  Our goal will be to get you to the point where you "graduate" from therapy, ready to move out into the world from a place of health and inner stability.  

I am a therapist, but I am also a human!  I believe in using humor, etc. etc.  Listening, compassion, etc.
